Re: Quiet Conversations.

“Come near to God and he will come near to you. You are sinners, so clean sin out of your lives. You are trying to follow God and the world at the same time. Make your thinking pure.”
James 4:8 ERV

Worship is our journey with God through life. It is not a destination. Worship is a journey.
This means being aware of God as we go about each day, wherever we may be, at work, at home or out with friends and in whatever situation we may find ourselves, nursing a new-born, grieving a parent, settling down in a new city or working through some challenge on out jobs.

It begins by cultivating your expectation of him such that you will always be in his presence rather than waiting for a feeling.
Have you been in a situation where you were in the same room with someone, even having a conversation with the person yet you could tell the person wasn’t really there with you rather they were distracted?

It is also easy for us to get distracted such that we are not aware that God is present with us at every time of the day.
It is this presence that makes the difference in our lives because from his presence we draw strength, find direction and are refreshed and infused with joy that fuels our passions and pursuits.

Make a habit of quiet conversations with God through each day involving him in your affairs and referring all you do to him.
Be deliberate about it until it becomes natural to you and you will find him drawing nearer to you each and every time.

Lord, thank You for being with me right now and even as I go about my day. I receive grace to take out moments in my day to draw strength from knowing you are right here with me to provide wisdom, direction and peace when I need it.
